MISSISSAUGA — The Widdifield Wildcats senior boys volleyball team turned in a strong showing at the St. Joseph invitational tournament on the weekend.

St. Michael’s won the junior girls division in the annual Raider basketball tournament on the weekend. They defeated Ecole Secondaire Catholique Algonquin Barons 54-23 in the final with N. MacMartin leading the way with 13 points.

Trappers win, lose on road trip (new)

The North Bay Trappers gained a split in weekend Great North Midget League action. The Trappers defeated the Majors 5-2 in Timmins Friday night and dropped a 6-4 decision Saturday in Kapuskasing to the Flyers.
