Three local pole vaulters got a head start at NOSSA Wednesday finishing in record fashion. The Northern Ontario event takes place Thursday and Friday in Sault Ste.

Congratulations to Dwight Bessaw who aced the 172 yard 8th hole at Osprey Links. Dwight hit a three wood against the wind to make the shot. Witnessing the feat were Gerry Racicot, Earl Tetreault and Bob Caruso.

Eleven members of the CFB Thunderbirds Swim Club recently competed in the East Side Mario’s Long Course Invitational Swim Meet in Sudbury. The meet attracted 188 swimmers from ten teams in Ontario.
