Titans solid in Northeastern Ontario Meet

The North Bay Y Titans welcomed 216 swimmers this past weekend as they were host of the third Northeastern Ontario Regional Developmental meet.

The Titans continued their success rate posting 95% best times with over two-thirds of the team taking a top third position. Included in this group were Dominique Bouchard, Aurora Buckley, Samantha Cowan, Ashley Duquette, Megan Frederick, Mark Frederick, Renee Gagnon, Max Giesler, Kristen Lazarou, Hutton Noth, Kelsey O’Connor, Brittany Pask, Angelina Racine, Holly Ryan, Anna Tryapichkin, Shelby Twilt, Andrew Bell, Jeremy Sallie, Max Sherry, Daniell White, Jennifer Leckie, Nicole Plumb, and Bryanna Penno.

The team continued to come in strong as Kristen Gough, Kaytlin Legris, Rochelle Leppert, Grace Liritzis, Meleah Seguin, Lindsay Stencell, Katherine Tripp, Garrett Ryan, and Molly Vandermeer all placed in the top twelve rankings.

Proving the Titans meant business this weekend they hit the wall with such force that they shut out swimmers in seven categories by taking all top three finishes.

The Titans will be sending three of their swimmers to Senior Provincials this weekend.
