Royals drop a pair

The Temiscaming Royals dropped a pair of games over the weekend in Greater Metro Junior Hockey League action.

On Friday the Royals fell 3-1 to Deseronto. Benoit Fiset was the lone goal scorer for the Royals.

On Sunday, former Royals leading scorer and former North Bay Trapper Darcy Vaillancourt returned to the Centre as his Inisfil Lakers walked away with a 9-3 victory.

Guillaume Brisebois, Tim Revell and Corey Raymond scored for the Royals.

The Royals next home game is Friday, February 8th against the Douro Dukes. Game time 8:00 p.m. at the Centre.
