The Algonquin Barons blanked the Widdifield Wildcats 3-0 on Saturday night to win their NDA hockey quarter-final series in two straight. The Barons opened up with a 4-0 shutout over the Cats in game one of the series on Wednesday night.

Oshawa - The Gymtrix Provincial Women's Team traveled to Oshawa last weekend to compete in the 2nd of 3 Qualifiers. The team had a very successful weekend, competing against some of the strongest clubs in the province.

The North Bay Y Titans traveled to Sault Ste. Marie recently to compete in the Pre-qualifying Dave Kensit A Memorial Champion swim meet. Nicole Plumb, Vendela Edmonds, Brittany Pask and Angelina Racine represented the 11 and 12 year old girls.

The Chippewa Raiders defeated the West Ferris Trojans Wednesday night 3-2 to take game one of their best-of-three NDA Hockey quarter-final series.
