The West Ferris Trojans defeated the Wildcats in Game 2 of the senior boys Basketball semi-finals on Wednesday night at Widdifield Senior Secondary.

After trailing at the half 23-18 the Trojans outsored the Wildcats 41-24 in the 2nd half to win going away 59-47. Dustin Anthony led the way with 18 point for the Trojans. Morgan Brown added 14 all in the 2nd half. Phil Dampier scored 12 for the Green and White. The hard working Cats were led by Brayden Burke and Dave Rodgers who scored 12 points each. This game gives the series 2-0 for the Trojans and allows them to reach the finals for a 12th consecutive year. They will meet the first place Chippewa Raiders in the finals beginning on Saturday. Game time TBA.

The Raiders also finished off their semi-final series on Thursday afternoon by sweeping the Franco Cite Patriotes in two straight games. Score not available.
