Identification of body released The North Bay Police Service is now reporting that the body found on the 20th of May near Cedar Heights Rd. is that of Lorraine Girard, 53-years-old of North Bay. She had been reported missing in April of this year.

GIRL ATTACKED On the 23rd of May at approximately 5 PM it is alleged that a teenaged girl was riding her bicycle across the Scollard Hall property making her way to High St. At this time she was followed and surrounded by a group of male cyclists.

THEFT/FRAUD ALERT The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the public on a recent scam that is being committed in North Bay. A team of organized criminals steal both the ATM card and the corresponding PIN number from the victim.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT On the 15th of May during the evening hours Cst. Erin Honeysett and Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police received a call to attend at a parking lot within the city in regards to a man allegedly harassing a woman.

MAN’S BODY FOUND The North Bay Police Service received a call at approximately 6 AM yesterday in regards to a man’s body found on the shoreline of Lake Nipissing. The body was sent to Toronto for a Post Mortem to determine cause of death.

MANY CHARGES On the 12th of May during the afternoon hours it is alleged that a man attended a residence within the city and made his way inside. He then poured gasoline on another man and threatened to light him on fire.
