RELEASE OF NAME Although the Coroner’s Office has not officially released the cause of death of a man’s body found in lake Nipissing on the 15th of May, our Police Service has been given permission to release the man’s name as Frank FARRELL 69 years

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT On the 15th of May during the evening hours Cst. Erin Honeysett and Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police received a call to attend at a parking lot within the city in regards to a man allegedly harassing a woman.

MAN’S BODY FOUND The North Bay Police Service received a call at approximately 6 AM yesterday in regards to a man’s body found on the shoreline of Lake Nipissing. The body was sent to Toronto for a Post Mortem to determine cause of death.

MANY CHARGES On the 12th of May during the afternoon hours it is alleged that a man attended a residence within the city and made his way inside. He then poured gasoline on another man and threatened to light him on fire.

CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT The North Bay Police Service would like to invite the general public to play in a charity golf tournament commemorating the 125th anniversary of the North Bay Police Service.

CALLANDER COMMUNITY CENTRE As one of the community partners involved in an information day at the Callander Community Centre, we would like to invite the general public and the media to attend on the 12th of May between the hours of 1:30 PM and 4 PM.

SUSPECTED ARSON The North Bay Police Service is presently investigating a house fire that they suspect to be arson. This occurred at approximately 3:00 AM on Tuesday the 8th of May at a home on Legion Dr. within the south end of the city.

PEEPING TOM On the 28th of April during the early evening hours a North Bay homeowner saw a man standing on his deck watching young girls change within the home. This man fled the area and the incident was reported to the North Bay Police Service.

Alcohol Related Incidents – A Concern (North Bay, ON) North Bay OPP were busy on Friday and Saturday night during this weekend (May 4th, 5th and 6th, 2007) investigating alcohol related incidents.

THREATS On the 3rd of May shortly before 2 AM a man allegedly called another man several times by phone and threatened his life.
