CRIMINAL HARASSMENT On the 15th of May during the evening hours Cst. Erin Honeysett and Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police received a call to attend at a parking lot within the city in regards to a man allegedly harassing a woman.

On the 15th of May during the evening hours Cst. Erin Honeysett and Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police received a call to attend at a parking lot within the city in regards to a man allegedly harassing a woman.

The officers arrived and located an individual whom they arrested.

Luigi RICCI 41 years old of Gladstone Av. is charged with Criminal Harassment and was held in custody for a bail hearing.


CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

On the 16th of May shortly before 1 AM it is alleged that a man contacted a woman known to him and attempted to intimidate her. Cst. Richard Hampel and Ross Lingley of the North Bay Police were called and investigated the matter.

Robert PENNER 31 years old of Water St. is charged with Criminal Harassment and is to attend court on the 26th of June.


STOLEN ATV

Overnight on the 13th of May thieves stole an ATV that had been parked in the driveway of a home in the 200 block of Lee’s Rd.

This ATV is described as a 500 cc Polaris Predator silver in colour with a red seat and Ont. licence # 36FK5


ANGRY MAN

On the 15th of May it is alleged that a man became angry and confronted another man within a North Bay residence. This confrontation led the would be attacker to brandish a hammer and later a knife at the victim.
Eventually the North Bay Police Service was called and Cst. Gerry Martin and James Kilroy of our Service attended the location in question and arrested a man in relation to these incidents.
Jeffery McNEELY 29 years old of Lakeshore Dr. is charged with 2 counts of Assault With a Weapon, Threatening, and Breach of Probation. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.


ATTEMPT BREAK & ENTER

Overnight on the 15th of May would be thieves entered the Tamargon Aggregate property on Roy Dr. and smashed several windows however no entry was gained.


LONG WEEKEND

The North Bay Police Service wishes to advise the media and the citizens of North Bay and Callander that this coming long weekend we will have extra officers on patrol.
These patrols will include a RIDE unit, and various beach and park checks, including The Cove and Camp Island on Trout Lake.
