MANY CHARGES On the 12th of May during the afternoon hours it is alleged that a man attended a residence within the city and made his way inside. He then poured gasoline on another man and threatened to light him on fire.

On the 12th of May during the afternoon hours it is alleged that a man attended a residence within the city and made his way inside. He then poured gasoline on another man and threatened to light him on fire. He also allegedly took a bat and began to swing it at the victim. After keeping the man prisoner for approximately 2 hours the attacker took some money and then left.

Cst. Richard Hampel and Henri O’Neill of the North Bay Police Service received the call and attended and commenced their search for the assailant.

He was located at a residence on Rose Av. and arrested.

Christopher Donald DALEY 33 years old of Princess St. E. is charged with

Weapons Dangerous, Robbery, 3 counts of Assault With a Weapon, 2 counts of Threatening, Attempt Aggravated Assault, Possession of an Incendiary Material, Attempt Arson, Forcible Confinement, Breach of Probation and Breach of Prohibition order. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

THREATENS DEATH

On the 12th of May during the early morning hours it is alleged that a man attended a nightclub and made death threats against a woman and her family.

Cst. Jim Warren and Scott Buchanan of the North Bay Police attended and arrested a man in relation to the incident.

Daniel O’Brien 29 years old of Galt St. is charged with 2 counts of Threatening Death and remains in custody for a bail hearing.

ATTACKED IN BAR

On the 12th of May shortly before 1 AM a man was playing pool in a local bar and was attacked by an unknown assailant. This victim was struck with an unknown object causing the victim to receive 21 stitches to close the wound.

Cst. Randy Adair of the North Bay Police Service is seeking a man believed to be named Eric, tall with bad acne and bad teeth.
