HOMEOWNERS SURPRISE BURGLAR On May 22 at 11 a.m. homeowners returning to their residence in the 1200 block of Fraser Street were surprised to find a burglar within. The thief managed to escape but a few minutes later, he was arrested by Sgt.

BREAK AND ENTER On May 18 during daylight hours thieves entered the rear basement window of a home in the 1100 block of Fraser Street. Although the residence was thoroughly searched there was nothing reported missing at the time of report.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT On the evening May 17 during the storm, a 40-year-old man attended the area of Copeland Street and parked his vehicle. During power failures neighbours saw that he was sneaking around a woman’s home and looking in windows.

OWNER ASSAULTED IN ATTEMPTED B&E On May 16 during the early morning hours a man who had just attempted to break into a residence on Duke Street E., was confronted by the owner. This man then struck the owner in order for him to escape. Cst.

MAN EXPOSES HIMSELF On May 13 at 5 PM a 14-year-old female walking near the Delaware Avenue-McLeod Street area was approached by a male on a bicycle. This male then lifted his shorts and spoke to her. She ran to a nearby relative’s home.

RIFLING VEHICLES On May 12 at 1:45 AM, Cst. Helen Kent of the North Bay Police Service observed that some vehicles had their interior lights on in the Ski Club Road area of the city. She contacted other officers and advised them.

THREE FOR CRIMINAL HARASSMENT From Jan.25 to May 9, three males have been continuously following and chasing another male in the North Bay area. A complaint was finally made to the North Bay Police Service on May 9.

DEATH THREATS On May 5 shortly before 4 AM Cst. Mark McLeod and Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence within the city and arrested one male for threatening. This male had called another male and threatened him with death.
