ROBBERY On June 17 shortly after 8:30 PM a woman was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot of Independent Grocers. As she did so a male person riding a bicycle passed by and snatched her purse.

SEXUAL ASSAULT On June 14 Det. Cst. Barry Ramsay of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male person in relation to a sexual assault investigation. The allegation is that the incidents took place between 1993 and 2004 in North Bay and Toronto.

BREAK AND ENTERS On June 12 at 9 PM thieves kicked in the rear door of a residence in the 700 block of Beattie Street. Jewellery was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULT On June 3, while at a party within a residence in North Bay, a male person sexually assaulted a female. On June 8 Cst. Aaron Northrup of the North Bay Police Service effected an arrest in relation to this assault.

BREAK AND ENTER Overnight June 6 thieves broke into Heritage Trim’s storage unit on Seymour Street. Once inside the thieves then cut a hole in the wall, gaining access to For Your Convenience store.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS On June 3 shortly before 3 PM Det. Cst. Tina Murphy and Det. Cst. Greg McClenaghan arrested a 68-year-old male in relation to sexual assaults on young females.

THEFT OF MONEY ORDERS On May 29 thieves stole a substantial amount of items from Guardian Drugs on Algonquin Avenue. These items were taken from a safe and are listed as follows: Bell and Roger’s AT&T pay as you go cell phone cards; numerous $1.
