The Nipissing Lakers continue to surprise in their opening season in the OUA as they won their third straight as they defeated the Ryerson Rams at the George Bell arena in Toronto on Saturday afteroon.

OTTAWA, ON. - The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers opened up the Ottawa Senators Midget AAA Showcase Tournament with a 1-0 win over the Ottawa Valley Titans.

The West Ferris Atom A Blades hockey team will be selling used sports equipment on Saturday, October 17th, in the Vested Interest parking lot on McIntyre street w, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Powassan Dragons invite all kids to both of their home games this weekend. All kids who come to the games wearing a hockey jersey will get in free of charge. The Dragons will be hosting the Algoma Avalanche Friday October 16th at 8:00 p.m.

STURGEON FALLS, ON. - The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears defeated the Franco-Cite Patriotes 21-0 in West Nipissing on Thursday in NDA Senior Football action. Tyler Giekie, Peter Feige and Jeremy Poeta scored majors for the Bears.
