The North Bay Hilltop Variety Bantam AAA Blades dropped all three games as they played their home series opener against the Soo Thunder at home this past weekend. In game one the Thunder opened the scoring 8 minutes into the first.

The North Bay Peewee AAA Trappers had a successful weekend series in Sudbury this past weekend. The Trappers put together a string of three all-around solid games to beat the Wolves 4-0 and 3-2 on Saturday and returned Sunday to blast Sudbury 10-1.
