City Police Beat

SEXUAL ASSAULT On the 29th of July at approximately 10:30PM, Csts. Randy Adair and Scott Buchanan of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male in regards to a Sexual Assault.

THEFT OF PURSE On the 28th of July at approximately 8:00PM, Csts. Jeff Warner and Robin Boucher of the North Bay Police Service attended to a complaint of an alleged stolen purse from Bentley Luggage in the Northgate Shopping Centre.

THEIF CAPTURED On the 26th of July at approximately 2:00AM, Cst. Tom Robertson of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male youth in relation to incident involving the male who was allegedly searching through cars in the Victoria St. W area.

THEIF CAUGHT On the 24th of July at approximately 11:30PM, Csts. Scott Berry and Brian Moore of the North Bay Police Service attended to a residence on Douglas St. and allegedly found a male searching through cars.

STRUCK OUT On the 23rd of July at approximately 6:00PM, it is alleged that a male had smashed the window and chased the victims out of their residence with a bat on First Ave W. The male did not take any items from within the residence. Cst.

FRAUDS North Bay Police Service is investigating several possible Frauds in the North Bay area.

ROBBERY On the 21st of July at approximately 3:00PM it is alleged that a young male had been approached by an older male at the corner of Cassells St and O’Brien St when the young victim was asked to hand over money.

FIGHT On the 18th of July at approximately 9:00PM it is alleged that an altercation took place between a large number of people within the city. It is further alleged that one of the combatants stabbed the other in the back of the neck.

Theft over $5000.00; Bicycle North Bay Police are seeking assistance in recovering a Hi-End, custom built bicycle stolen from a pick-up truck on John Street July 16th at approximately 6:00 pm.
