North Bay Police are seeking assistance in recovering a Hi-End, custom built bicycle stolen from a pick-up truck on John Street July 16th at approximately 6:00 pm.
Bicycle is built on a 2003 black S-Works Epic frame with Sram X.0 shifters & Derailleur, red Race Face Deus crankshaft, Chris King headset & hubs, Mavic X17 black rims, Easton carbon handlebar, fox Vanilla fork, Thompson seat post, and Michelin tires.

Theft of Purse-Caught on Video

Cst. Chabbert of the North Bay Police reports that a female employee of a local LCBO store had her purse stolen and the accused person was captured on store security video taking the purse. Suspects left the area by cab and were later located exiting the cab in North Bay. A male suspect was arrested at approximately 9:27 pm July 15th, and the purse recovered. Police have charged Charles Gilles, 34-years-old of Fisher Street in North Bay with Theft under $5000.00 and Possession of Stolen Property. He was released on bail July 16, 2008.
