SAFETY MESSAGE The North Bay Police Service would like to advise the public that during its ‘BACK IN SCHOOL” safety blitz from the 1st of Sept. to the 11th of Sept. no drivers were charged with school bus violations.

BREAK & ENTERS During daylight hours on the 10th of Sept. thieves forced a screen door in the 600 block of Banner Av. Once inside they stole a quantity of alcohol. 2 suspects were seen in the general area at 2 PM on the same day.

RE. SCHOOL BUS TRAFFIC The North Bay Police Service would like to advise the media that to date we have not laid any school bus traffic infractions within our area. We are in the process of investigating one complaint of that nature.

BREAK & ENTER Between the 4th and 8th of Sept. thieves entered the YMCA child care building on Connaught St. through and insecure window. The thieves stole 3 Cobra radios, a black YMCA back pack and some food items.

15 YEAR OLD CAUGHT ON CAMERA On the 21st of Aug. at approximately 1:30 AM a young male was caught on camera trying to destroy it with bricks while in the new walkway between the downtown area and Memorial Dr. On the 6th of Sept. Det. Cst.

DUMP TRUCK VS CAR On the 2nd of Sept. shortly after 5 PM a dump truck travelling on Seymour St. attempted to turn onto Franklin St. and struck a small car that had been travelling straight through.
