The North Bay Police Service would like to advise the media that to date we have not laid any school bus traffic infractions within our area.
We are in the process of investigating one complaint of that nature.
We would like to thank the motoring public for taking this issue very seriously and for continuing to respect the school bus laws for our children’s safety.
Motorists are reminded that there is a $500. fine and a loss of 6 demerit points if a driver is convicted of passing a stopped school bus with overhead lights activated.

FAIL TO REMAIN

A parked vehicle on the street in front of a residence was struck by a blue vehicle.
This vehicle would have damage near the gas tank lid and the gas tank lid itself remained at the scene.
