DUMP TRUCK VS CAR On the 2nd of Sept. shortly after 5 PM a dump truck travelling on Seymour St. attempted to turn onto Franklin St. and struck a small car that had been travelling straight through.

On the 2nd of Sept. shortly after 5 PM a dump truck travelling on Seymour St. attempted to turn onto Franklin St. and struck a small car that had been travelling straight through.

The North Bay Fire Department attended to extricate the car driver from his vehicle and the victim was brought to the North Bay Hospital for treatment and released.
The dump truck driver has been charged with Failing to Yield.

RACING

On the 2nd of Sept. at approximately 8:35 PM it is alleged that two vehicles were racing and chasing each other in the Main St. /Fraser St. area of the city. One of the vehicles was a large pick/up truck and the other was a Trans Am.

A plain clothes officer in an unmarked cruiser from the North Bay Police spotted the vehicles in question and followed them to a parking lot. Both vehicles were impounded for 7 days and a 26 year old male as well as a 21 year old male are both charged with Street Racing.
