Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 186 calls for service that resulted in 12 arrests. Offences included assaults, threatening, public mischief, fraud, impaired driving, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

Traffic Stop Leads to B&E’s At 6:50 p.m. on January 8, a man believed to be disqualified from driving was observed driving on Marshall Ave.

Voyeurism A police investigation into a voyeurism complaint has resulted in the arrest of a 31 year old North Bay man. He has been charged with indecent act, voyeurism and trafficking in a controlled drug.

Winter Caution The North Bay Police wish to caution drivers and the public about the cold temperatures. When it is this cold, all roads have a layer of frost on them. Brakes and the mechanical functions of your vehicles are not as effective.

Break and Enter At 8:30 p.m. December 31st a residence on Sylvan Cr. was entered through a kitchen window and a quantity of liquor stolen. Cst Randy Adair is investigating. New Years Between 6:00 p.m. December 31st and 6:00 a.m.

R.I.D.E. Stats Over the weekend the North Bay Police R.I.D.E. program checked 135 vehicles in 5 different locations.

Robbery At 1:50 a.m. on Dec. 26th a man was on Third Ave near Cassells St when two men attacked him. He was punched several times in the head, kneed in the face and a quantity of cash and a scratch ticket book taken from him.

Weekend/R.I.D.E. Stats Over the weekend, the North Bay Police conducted R.I.D.E. in 12 different locations resulting in 765 vehicles being checked. There were no impairment issues identified. Four warnings for headlights were issued.
