The North Bay Major Bantam 'AAA' Blades won only 1 of their three home games this weekened as the Timmins Liberty Mines Eagles payed a visit to North Bay on the weekend.

On Saturday the North Bay and District Pee Wee AAA Trappers were in Sudbury for a regular season match-up against the Nickel City Sons where they reeled in a big 2-1 overtime win.

OTTAWA - The Nipissing Lakers soccer teams hit the road to the nations capital to face some strong competition in the Carleton Ravens and Ottawa Gee-Gees. The Lady Lakers earned a hard fought road point against the Ravens with a 1-1 draw.

The North Bay Trappers dropped a 7-4 decision to the Nickel City Sons on Saturday afternoon. Roch Pellerin, Jamie Olivier, Dylan Staples and Brad Prescott scored for the Trappers.

The Algonquin Barons improved to 3-0 with a 41-14 victory over the Northern Braves this afternoon in NDA junior football action.
