Roch Pellerin, Jamie Olivier, Dylan Staples and Brad Prescott scored for the Trappers.

Adam Marceau had two assists playing his first ever Midget 'AAA' level game as a defenceman.

The Trappers were dealing with injuries and a pair of suspensions that forced them to travel to Sudbury with only 11 players.

"It was not a bad effort," admitted Trappers head coach Beau Moyer who expects defencemen Pascal Seguin and Cory Leboeuf to be in the line-up for Sunday's home opener against the Sons.

"I'm proud of these guys, we just ran out of gas as our guys were out every second shift," he added.

The Trappers are asking fans to wear red for Sunday's home opener which takes place at 1:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.
