Kasha Johnson is all smiles after winning a Taylor Swift concert package at the Northgate Shopping Centre this weekend.

A giant 20-foot crocodile was sighted this weekend on a beach at Lake Nosbonsing. However instead of leathery skin and razor sharp teeth, this nasty looking reptile is completely made of sand.

Elsa was suffering from cancer and had only months to live. She was one of 71 dogs seized recently by the local OSPCA, part of the North Bay District Humane Society. The family pet was euthanized by the Society without the knowledge of its owners.

Ken Walker, aka W. Gifford-Jones was in North Bay recently to promote his new book "90+ How I Got There". His medical column is published by over 50 Canadian newspapers and several in the United States. He has also published eight books.

The OPP Marine Unit was on a routine patrol on Lake Temagami when they stopped at a houseboat at around 1:30 pm on July 31st. Officers investigated and found a quantity of suspected marijuana, which was seized.

BayToday reader Anna Stanley caught this picture this afternoon as an elderly woman, crossed the centre median, ran over a traffic sign and ended up going north in the southbound lanes of Algonquin. The car got hung up on the sign.
