A giant 20-foot crocodile was sighted this weekend on a beach at Lake Nosbonsing.

However instead of leathery skin and razor sharp teeth, this nasty looking reptile is completely made of sand.

The beach monster is the work of Sudbury sculptor James W Cook.

The scuptor had help from family members to make the sandy crocodile.

The sand sculpture took 6 hours to complete.

The fun Lake Nosbonsing beach creation was part of the Cook and Whyte annual family reunion.

“Every year they have a new adventure,” said neighbour Janet Winsor.
