As the Battalion prepare for a new season, the way they play before their North Bay fans will change. The OHL has announced a series of rule changes for this season effective immediately, the major one being a big change to how overtime is played.

Ten people had to be evacuated from a structure at 210 Nipissing Street Saturday morning after a fire in an apartment there. The fire broke out around 4 a.m., sending residents into the street.
