Ten people had to be evacuated from a structure at 210 Nipissing Street Saturday morning after a fire in an apartment there.
The fire broke out around 4 a.m., sending residents into the street.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control quickly, and fire damage is isolated to one apartment.
Other apartments reportedly suffered some water damage. .
There were no reported injuries, and no cause or estimate of damage at this time.
Both Victims Services of Nipissing District and Canadian Red Cross volunteers were on scene to assist those displaced.
Othere residents of the complex were expected to be allowed back into their apartments later in the day.
