During daylight hours on Feb. 26 an apartment in the 700 block of High St. was forcibly entered through a rear bedroom window. A small amount of cash was taken. Overnight Feb.

TWO STOLEN VEHICLES---ONE RECOVERED A complaint of a stolen vehicle led the North Bay Police Service to locate another reported stolen vehicle abandoned at this same location.

BREAK AND ENTER On the 23rd of February 2004 between 11:30 am and 11:30 pm thieves forced the rear door of a residence in the 500 block of McIntyre street East. Once inside the thieves took a Bell cell phone. No one was at home at the time.

ASSAULT POLICE On the 21 February 2004, at approximately 2:15 a.m., in the Downtown area, a male threw a snowball at a police cruiser, striking the officer. The male was placed under arrest and immediately resisted, assaulting the officer.

BREAK AND ENTER During the early morning hours of Sunday the 15th of Feb. thieves forced their way into the Moe-Ze-On Inn on Pinewood Park Dr. and damaged the cash register. Nothing appears to have been taken.

ASSAULT On Feb. 11 in the early afternoon a male person attended a local coffee shop and assaulted another male for no apparent reason. The victim was struck in the face and had a hot chocolate thrown at him.

Break and enter A North Bay man has been charged following a break and enter on Booth Road Tuesday. The North Bay Police Service says around 10:45 a.m. a man entered a residence through an open kitchen window while the female occupant slept.

Sexual Assault On Feb. 8, shortly after 8 a.m., a male who had attended North Bay for a hockey tournament allegedly went into a bedroom of the residence where he was staying and sexually assaulted a female who had been sleeping.
