City Police Beat

ASSAULT AND THREATENING On Dec. 17 a male adult struck a female who was known to him,within the city. She did not require medical attention.

BREAK AND ENTER Between the 11th and 16th of Dec., thieves entered an unlocked apartment in the 800 block of Jet Av. Once inside they stole a Dell Pentium Inspiron 4150 lap top computer worth close to $3000. ATTEMPT THEFT OF AUTO Between 5 p.m.

BREAK AND ENTER Overnight Dec. 14 thieves threw a rock through a window of a home in the 1100 block of Highway 654 Wasi Rd. and gained access to the residence. Once inside they stole compact discs and various coins.

MAN WITH KNIFE On the 13th of Dec. shortly after 1 AM Cst. Randy Adair and Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a downtown bar in regard to a man with a knife.

CHARGES LAID IN RELATION TO FIRE On the 11th of Dec. during the afternoon a man attended a residence within the city and visited the occupant. He left after a period of time and attended the attached garage.

BREAK AND ENTER Between 1:15 and 2:15 Wednesday afternoon thieves forced their way into a home in the 700 block of O'Brien St. through a side door. They stole a digital camera, numerous toonies and loonies and 3 gold diamond rings.

BREAK AND ENTER Between Dec. 7th and 9th thieves cut an access through a compound fence at a storage facility on Gibson Road. The thieves then removed a 1999 15 HP Johnson outboard motor from a boat that had been stored there.

OFFICER BITTEN On Dec. 8 shortly after 2 a.m. officers of the North Bay Police Service attended a call regarding the eviction of a female from a local motel. The woman was screaming continually both inside and outside the room.

STOLEN VEHICLE Overnight Dec. 5 a 1992 red Dodge Shadow vehicle was stolen from the 200 block of Oakwood Avenue. This vehicle has a Go Army sticker on the rear of the trunk and a McGill University sticker across the back window.

THEFT OVER Overnight on the 1st of Dec. thieves made off with a double flatbed trailer which was taken from the Western Star yard in the 3500 block of Hwy 11 north. The trailers were loaded with varying lengths of 2x6 boards.
