Two impaireds in 24 hours During his last two night shifts Cst. Scott McFarlane of the North Bay Police Service was kept busy with impaired drivers. On Nov. 30 at 1 AM the officer stopped his first impaired driver.

MAN FIGHTS WITH POLICE On Nov. 29 constables Bruce Whitehead and Ken Rice, of the North Bay Police Service, were called to the North Bay General Hospital. At this time a man was causing a disturbance.

MAN PULLS KNIFE On Nov. 25 during the early evening hours a man was visiting a couple at a home within the city. The male resident became angry and threatened the male visitor with a knife. He then punched the visitor several times. Cst.

BREAK AND ENTER SUSPECTS On Nov. 24 shortly before 3 PM officers of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend in the area of 500 block of Hardy Street. This was in relation to two youths attempting to break into a home.

BREAK AND ENTER On Nov. 22 between 8:30 AM and 4 PM thieves broke the rear door glass of a home in the 900 block of Beattie Street. Once inside they stole jewellery and electronics with a value of approximately $2700.

STOLEN VEHICLE Overnight Nov. 20 thieves stole a 2003 Mazda Tribute SUV from a residence in the 900 block of Tackaberry Drive. The vehicle is further described as being maroon over grey in colour. The Ontario licence plate is AMHL 831.
