BREAK AND ENTER SUSPECTS On Nov. 24 shortly before 3 PM officers of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend in the area of 500 block of Hardy Street. This was in relation to two youths attempting to break into a home.

On Nov. 24 shortly before 3 PM officers of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend in the area of 500 block of Hardy Street.

This was in relation to two youths attempting to break into a home. Constables Jason Long, Andre Berube and Fernando Cirullo located two youths matching the description.

They fled, leaving behind their packsacks. The officers gave foot chase and caught up to them. A 15-year-old male as well as a 16-year-old male were arrested for a variety of offences.

These youth were charged with break and enters into homes on Brooks St., McIntyre St., Worthington St. and Tweedsmuir Dr.

The 16-year-old is charged with two counts of break and enter and commit, attempted break and enter, breach of probation and possession of house break-in instruments.

The 15-year-old is charged with five counts of break and enter and commit, attempted break and enter, two counts of breach of probation, possession of house break-in instruments, breach of recognizance and possession of a controlled substance.

Both were kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
