TWO FOR BREAK AND ENTER On Nov. 18 shortly after 11 PM constables Bruce Whitehead, Melanie Prevost and Merv Shantz, of the North Bay Police Service, received a radio call to attend the Beer Store on Main Street W regarding a break and enter.

On Nov. 18 shortly after 11 PM constables Bruce Whitehead, Melanie Prevost and Merv Shantz, of the North Bay Police Service, received a radio call to attend the Beer Store on Main Street W regarding a break and enter.

The officers located suspects on the beach drinking beer. They were arrested.

Thomas FRIDAY, 18, of Mulligan Street, is charged with break and enter and theft, and possession of stolen property. He is to appear in court Jan. 4

James Jesse PAUL, 20, of Bear Island, in Temagami, is charged with break, enter and theft, and possession of stolen property. He is to appear in court at a later date.

SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST
On Nov. 18 detective constables Tina Murphy, Ray Yelle and Greg McClenaghan, of the Criminal Investigation Unit, arrested a male in relation to historical sexual assaults that occurred between 1978 and 1983.

The alleged assaults were committed against three female victims who were young girls at the time.

James Llewellyn KILE, 67, of High Street, is charged with five counts of indecent assault on a female, and two counts of sexual assault. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
