ASSAULT BODILY HARM On Nov. 28 at approximately 3 AM two males known to each other got into an argument within a residence on Main Street E.
ASSAULT BODILY HARM
On Nov. 28 at approximately 3 AM two males known to each other got into an argument within a residence on Main Street E.

One of the males grabbed the other by the privates and then struck the victim in the face causing a broken nose. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Constables Randy Adair and Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service attended and arrested the man.

Tim Vincent HART, 32, of Main Street E is charged with assault, bodily harm and sexual assault. He is to appear in court at a later date.

MAN THREATENS WITH KNIFE
On Nov. 27 at approximately 1:30 AM a man threatened another man within an apartment on Stockdale Road.

This man also took a large knife and threatened the man further. Cst. Ross Lingley of the North Bay Police Service attended with other officers and arrested the man.

Nigel SEHMRAU, 27, of Stockdale Road, is charged with threatening, Weapons Dangerous and assault. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

ANOTHER BREAK AND ENTER ARREST
On Nov. 27 Det. Cst. Aaron Northrup of the North Bay Police Service arrested a 20-year-old male for break and enter. This unlawful entry had occurred at a residence on Tweedsmuir Drive Nov 5.

Justin McCOY, 20, of Delaware Avenue, is charged with break and enter and theft, and breach of probation. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

TROUT LAKE ROAD COLLISION
On Nov. 28 at approximately 8 PM a vehicle was travelling southbound on Trout Lake Road near Bank Street.

At this time the vehicle, being driven by a 17-year-old male, spun out on black ice. This vehicle continued until it struck a hydro poll. The poll toppled and struck another vehicle also travelling in the same direction.

The 17-year-old driver did not receive any injuries and his 19-year-old male passenger attended the hospital for minor injuries to his head.

The other vehicle being driven by a 35-year-old male with a 24-year-old female passenger became trapped by the hydro wires. Both North Bay Hydro and Ontario Hydro had to attend. The occupants did not receive any injuries.

The road was closed from 8 PM to almost 11 PM and traffic was rerouted. Cst. Helen Kent was the investigating officer.

BREAK AND ENTERS
On Nov. 23 between 1 PM and 2 PM two people were seen entering an apartment in the 900 block of Regina Street.

Although nothing appears to have been taken Cst. Steve Taylor the investigating officer is seeking these two individuals.

They are described as:

1-Male, 5’8, 175 lbs. short brown hair, glasses, and driving a newer model Honda or Toyota product, silver in colour.

2-female white, 5’7, 145 lbs, dark shoulder length curly hair, glasses and carrying a brown purse.

Between Nov 23-25 would-be thieves entered a garage on Hill Siding Road, in Callander. Although there were numerous tools within the structure, nothing appears to have been taken.
