The North Bay Skyhawks fell behind 4-2 after 40 minutes and were unable to even the score as the locals fell 4-3 to the Soo Thunderbirds in game 1 of the NOJHL final series at the John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday night.

The 95 Select Boys Soccer team will be holding their final tryouts for the upcoming season. They will start this Monday, April 6th at 8:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall gym. All boys born in 1995 are eligible for the tryout.

The first ever provincial Scholastic weightlifting championship will be held this Saturday, April 4 in the main gymnasium of the North Bay YMCA. The contest will feature some 60 lifters, representing schools from across the province.
