40 years of Athletic awards

Canadore Athletics will host the 40th Annual Athletics Awards Banquet for our Varsity, Club and Recreational teams on Friday, April 3rd.

The attendees include Canadore athletes, coaches, staff and Alumni Board members who will gather in the Canadore Dining Room for an evening of awards, recognition and to review the highlights of the past year.

Athletes will be recognized for their dedication, leadership, contribution and overall improvement to their respective sport. This is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge the commitment and enthusiasm these athletes and coaches have demonstrated throughout the past season.

We will also take this opportunity to acknowledge all of our incredible staff. We could not have had such a successful year without our Panther Athletic Council and the helpful staff and faculty at the College Drive, Commerce Court and Aviation Campuses. We cannot forget the behind the scenes community members who are always willing to lend a hand when needed.

We will be sending out the award winners after the ceremony on Friday, April 3rd. Athletes will be recognized in the following categories: Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Player, Dedication/Leadership awards for men and women’s volleyball, men and women’s indoor soccer, men’s basketball and men’s hockey. As well, Club Player of the Year, Athlete of the Year, and our Panther Athletic Council employee of the year awards will be presented.
