After placing 4th in the NDHL Atom A league play the Ritchie Bros Novice A Vipers finished their season with a silver medal at the NDHL playoffs this past weekend with an exciting final game vs ACT.

Eskimos forward Maxime St. Pierre scored a power play goal in the final two minutes of the first overtime period and Jus Jordan arena erupted as the Eskimos win 4-3 over the North Bay Skyhawks and even the series at 3-3.

The West Ferris Spartans OBA (Ontario Baketball Association) Juvenile basketball team captured the Cambridge basketball tournament over the weekend. In their 1st game they defeated the Niagara Falls Red Raiders 55-44.
