Canadore hands out Athletic awards

The Canadore Athletics banquet was held Friday night. Panthers volleyball player Kristen Verkuyl was given the Dean McCubbin Memorial Trophy as athlete of the year. The second year player led the women’s team with her outstanding performance and leadership skills as the team’s captain. Kristen finished off the season as a leading statistics holder in the Western OCAA Division.
