McDonalds Novice win gold in Valley East

The North Bay McDonald’s novice boys win gold in Valley East. Every game showed great pride and emotion especially the last game when the boys chanted: "North Bay!!! North Bay!!!"

McDonald’s had a record of 4-1 during the tournament with our only loss coming in the second game of the round-robin which was a very strange game for the kids and parents to say the least.

In the finals, McDonald’s played against Copper Cliff and right from the get go dominated and won the game 6-1.

Thanks to the hard work and guidance from Coach Bob and his staff, McDonald’s learned a lot as a team and players improved greatly in the course of the season and that is what house league hockey is all about.

Many of the parents say they are very proud of the boys and the improvement, heart and determination they showed over the season and look forward to seeing them improve even more next year.

The North Bay McDonald’s include: Trevor Boissonneault, Anthony Goulais, Mathew Harwick, Quinton Cocroft, Duff Biglow, Wyatt Stitt, Matt Langlois, Erik Lepkan, Nathan Desrosiers, Joe Drinkwalter, Gavin Nesterenko, Lucas Sutherland and Presley Belanger.
