The Franco-Cité Patriotes started off their season with a 4-0 record defeating the Chippewa Raiders (63-59), the West Ferris Trojans (57-51), the FJ McElligott Voyageurs (73-16) and most recently, the Algonquin Barons (49-42).

The ProSharp Bantam AA Trappers were put through an early morning Coach4Food practice by Tom Hedican and in turn helped push the fundraiser over the 13-ton mark.

The North Bay Trappers Midget AAA hockey team took part in Tom Hedican's Coach4Food program and have propelled it past the 12-ton mark with their contribution.

The West Ferris Sr Trojans ran their record to 3-0 with a 55-35 victory over the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears. Charlie Hancock led the way with 20 points and Sam Levac added 19. Robert Lavellee was the high scorer for the Bears with 10 points.

During the weekend of December 3rd, the WFRA 18+ A team participated in the Annual Pickering ringette tournament competing against the best teams in the Open 'A' division.

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey team were put through their Coach4Food practice and responded with more than a ton of food for Tom Hedican's 2010 fundraiser for the North Bay Food Bank.
