The FJ McElligott Voyageurs swept the Northern S.S. Braves 3-0 (25-18, 25-6, 25-17) in NDA Senior Girls Volleyball action on Tuesday night. In Junior play, the Voyageurs edged the Braves 3-2 (11-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-15, 11-15).

The West Ferris Fern's Heating Flames ringette team has pushed Tom Hedican's Coach4Food Program over the 9-ton mark for 2010.

Chris Winrow's 98 Peewee AA Trappers turned the tables on Tom Hedican's Coach4Food program when they could not get a practice scheduled into the 2010 fundraiser for the North Bay Food bank.

The North Bay Kelly’s Pumps Bantam House League hockey team took first place in the North Bay Challenge Cup hockey tournament over the weekend. Their pool results were wins over Cumberland (2–0), North Bay Subway (5–1) and a tie with Espanola (2–2).
