SUSPICIOUS PERSON On the 21st of Aug. shortly after 11 PM, Cst. Tom Robertson and Fernando Cirullo of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend on Main St. W. in regards to a suspicious male.

Break & Enter On the 21st of Aug. staff at Leisure World saw two males breaking into sheds on the property. The thieves made off with two fuel containers and fled the area when confronted by staff.

FOUND PADDLEBOAT On the 15th of Aug. at approximately 10 PM a homeowner in the 600 block of Banner Av. located a blue “Contour” paddleboat that had washed up on shore in front of the home.

BREAK & ENTER On the 14th of Aug. at approximately 3 AM homeowners on Mariah St. were awakened by a noise outside their house. They saw a male with a large nap sack leaving on a bicycle.

BREAK AND ENTER At approximately 4:30 AM someone forced their way into the Callander Legion by prying open the rear door. Once inside they forced another door to gain entry to the bar area. Nothing appears to have been taken.

LARGE FIGHT On the 10th of Aug. during the afternoon hours, Cst. Kilroy and Bedard of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a large fight in progress at the Rock St. playground on Rock St.

FOUR FOR BREAK & ENTER & ASSAULT On the 9th of Aug. during the afternoon hours it is alleged that 4 males made their way to an apartment in the downtown area. Once there, they kicked in the door and a male occupant fled.

THEFT OF CASH REGISTER On the 8th of Aug. at approximately 9 PM someone entered the rear of the Green Store on Trout Lake Rd. and made off with the cash register. A search of the area produced the register nearby, minus the cash.

BANK ROBBERY This morning (8th of Aug.) shortly before 10 AM a lone male entered the Scotiabank on Main St. W. in North Bay and tendered a note. This note indicated that the man was armed and that he was demanding money.
