Break & Enter On the 21st of Aug. staff at Leisure World saw two males breaking into sheds on the property. The thieves made off with two fuel containers and fled the area when confronted by staff.

On the 21st of Aug. staff at Leisure World saw two males breaking into sheds on the property. The thieves made off with two fuel containers and fled the area when confronted by staff. The individuals are described as:

1-Male, 17 years of age, 5’6, 140 lbs. with light brown hair and wearing a dark hooded top with lettering on the front, a dark coloured ball cap with dark knee length shorts.

2- Male, 5’6 to 5’8, 160 lbs. with dark hair and possibly a goatee. He was wearing a dark jacket with a dark shirt underneath, long pants, possibly jeans or jogging pants.

Bicycle Theft

Overnight on the 19th of Aug. thieves cut a chain link fence to a business in the 600 block of Lakeshore Dr. Once inside the property they cut locks on 5 storage sheds. One of these sheds contained two bicycles that were stolen.

Credit Card Theft

On the 4th of Aug. Cst. Fernando Cirullo and Tom Robertson of the North Bay Police Service took a complaint of a stolen credit card.

On the 20th of Aug. the officers located a man in relation to this complaint and further delt with him.

Richard NICHOLLS 33 years old of Ryan Av. is charged with Theft Under, Theft of Credit Card and Use of Stolen Credit Card.

He is to appear in court on the 3rd of Oct.

Assault Charges

On the 20th of Aug. during the early evening hours Cst. Tom Robertson and Fernando Cirullo of the North Bay Police Service attended a 911 call to a residence within the city.

The officers arrived and ended up arresting a female for assault. A female victim was transported to the North Bay General Hospital for treatment to a cut on the arm.

Arlene SCRIVER 29 years old of Diefenbaker Crt. is charged with Assault, Mischief and Unlawfully in a Dwelling House. She is to appear in court on the 3rd of Oct.

Criminal Harrasment

On the 20th of Aug. during daytime hours Cst. Ian Sharp and Merv Shantz of the North Bay Police Service attended an eviction notice in a residence within the city. A man was within the home and it is alleged that he had refused to leave as well as having previously contacted the complainant several times by phone

The officers escorted the man out and left. A short time after, it is further alleged that this same man again contacted the complainant several times by phone.

The officers attended the man’s residence and arrested him.

Andrew FITTON 30 years old of High St. is charged with Criminal Harassment and is to attend court on the 3rd of Oct.
