It seems that June 23rd was "Hole-in-One Day" at the Highview Golf Course, as two golfers made that perfect shot on the Powassan public golf course. Marcel Lefebvre accomplished an ace using a pitching wedge on the 8th hole.

The North Bay Stingers won their 8th consecutive game with a hard fought 12-9 victory over Assante in Senior Baseball action on Wednesday. Jake Tougas was winning pitcher with relief help from Thomas Hamilton. Tougas led the way with 2 hits.

Congratulations goes out to Bob Barton, who registered a "Hole in One" on the 107 yard, 7th hole at the Pinewood Park Golf Course on Tuesday. Barton hit his perfect shot with his 8-iron.
