The family announce with sorrow her death in Montreal, Que April 15, 2007 in her 78th year after a lengthy illness. Born in Casselman on Sep. 9, 1929, she later moved to Montreal where she resided for fifty five years.

On Wednesday, May 2, at the age of 86, Eileen was called home by her Lord. She will be so greatly missed by her husband Edgar, by her son Chris (Merrilyn) of Hamilton, daughter Gail Barnhart of North Bay, and son Mark (Julie) of Canmore.
