DUNCAN/OSHELL, Eleanore Kathleen (Hummel) - Peacefully at Eastholme on May 1, 2007, with her family by her side in her 92nd year. Eleanore was predeceased by her husbands Harry William Brand Duncan and John Joseph Oshell. She was the loving mother of the late Yvonne Rennette (the late Nick), Clarence Oshell (Caron) of Powassan, Sharon Booth (Dennis) of Trout Creek, Doug Oshell (Ann) of Powassan, Patricia Reichstein (Eugene) of Trout Creek and was predeceased by 3 infant children. She was the step-mother of Richard Duncan (Donna), Barb Van Rassel (the late Bryon), the late Diane McCoy (Jack), and David Duncan. Eleanore was the proud grandmother of many grand and great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Willard Hummel (Marie) of Trout Creek, Bernice Brunne (the late Harry) of Powassan, Gloria Stephens (Bernard) of Loring, Margaret Van Mierlo (Bernard), Cletus Hummel (Joan) and Cloyd Hummel all of Trout Creek, and was predeceased by siblings Clarence, Jerome, Greg, Lawrence, Rose and Florence. Also fondly remembered by her recent companion Harvey Langford.

The family will receive visitors in the Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with prayers at 8:45 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 am in the Church. Interment will follow at in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
