First local Pan Am Games torchbearer announced
Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) released the news that John Strang was named as the first torchbearer. Well-known North Bay local Leaf fan John Strang has been selected as one of the torchbearers for this summer’s Pan Am Games.

Celebration of musician's life
A celebration of the life of local guitarist Kenny Sim is being held this Saturday afternoon between 1 - 4 p.m.at the Clarion Pinewood Park Resort. Sim died January 1st at age 66.
