LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - The 29th Annual VNEA World Championships were held this past week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

BURLINGTON, ON. - The North Bay Bulldogs defence kept things close in the first half but being down 7-0 at the half was as close at it would get as the Bulldogs lost their season opener 24-0 at the hands of the Milton Marauders.

Sportsforce 2009 - a summer, co-ed, sport conditioning camp, for athletes 14 years and older - will once again be offered by the North Bay Norsemen and Valkyries Weightlifting team.

The North Bay Stingers will be holding try outs for the Mosquito age kids (birth years 1998-1999) that are registered with the North Bay Baseball Association. Tryouts will be held at Kelly field (Pete Palangio) Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:30 p.m.
