Davison joins Nipissing Lakers hockey team

The Nipissing University Lakers varisty men’s hockey team is pleased to announce that Gary Davison is joining the staff as vice-president sales and marketing, effective Monday, June 1st.

Davison brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing to the Lakers. He worked for six years with the North Bay Skyhawks as sales and marketing manager, and prior to that owned and operated MacFarlane Promotions, a sports promotion company that operated throughout Ontario working with many OHL and Junior hockey teams.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with this team, to get involved on the ground floor and to help build a winning program,” said Davison.

“Ontario university hockey is a tremendous brand of play, very fast with a high level skill and excitement. The North Bay community is going to love the Lakers."

Dennis Lathem, vice president of Lakers hockey operations believes Davison will be a benefit to the organization because of the professionalism and experience he brings to the organization.

“We are all looking forward to working with him to bring a very exciting brand of hockey to the fans in North Bay,” Lathem said.
