City Police Beat

BUSY WEEKEND Officers of the North Bay Police were kept busy this past weekend arresting 4 Intoxicated Persons and 2 Impaired Drivers. REFUSES TO LEAVE On the 22nd of Nov. at approximately 5:30 PM Csts.

NOISE TOO MUCH On the 20th of Nov. at approximately 2:30 AM it is alleged that loud music in a multi dwelling residence caused a resident to take matters into his own hands.

BREAK & ENTER Between the 6th and 17th of Nov. thieves forced their way into a dorm room at Canadore College by kicking in the door. Once inside the thieves stole cash, 4 DVD movies, bottled water, cologne and a television remote.

Police Seek Assistance Locating Missing Man The North Bay Police Service is requesting the media and public's assistance in locating 72 year old Marvyn Begley of North Bay. Mr. Begley was last seen on the 7th of Nov. of this year in North Bay.

FLEES FROM OFFICER On the 12th of Nov. shortly before 1 PM Det. Cst. Richard Hampel and Cst. Ken Rice of the North Bay Police had occasion to see a male wanted for Trafficking in Drugs. The officers approached the individual on McIntyre St.

2 FOR B & E On the 10th of Nov. Csts. Ken Ayres and Sue Solman of the North Bay Police had occasion to arrest 2 suspects in relation to a residence Break and Enter that had allegedly occurred on the 25th of Sept.

THEFT North Bay Police are investigating an alleged theft from a convenience Store on Cassells Street November 10. Apparently, two males left the store at around 6:38 p.m. without paying for Egg-Nogg & chocolate bars.

TIRE SLASHER At approximately 3 AM on the 8th of Nov. a man began slashing tires to automobiles in the area of Lakeshore Dr. and Main St. East.

Fisher St. Apartment Ransacked During the evening of the 31st of Oct. thieves ransacked an apartment in the 300 block of Fisher St.

WOMAN FOUND On Wed. the 5th of Nov. at approximately 10:30 AM the North Bay Police Service received a call re. an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s that had gone missing from a home.
