The North Bay Skyhawks will be holding their annual golf tournament on June 9th at Osprey Links with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The event will include a round of golf, prizes and a dinner at a cost of $70.00 per person.

The 2nd annual Nipissing University Lakers Soccer Camp is now accepting registration. The camp is open to children aged 7-14 and will run from July 18 to July 22 beginning at 10 a.m. and finishing at 3 p.m. The cost of the camp is $100.

About 60 rollerblading, biking and running enthusiasts gathered together on Sunday morning and participated in the 6th annual Chiropractic Society Blade, Bike, and Run for Fun. The races started at 9:00 a.m.

West Ferris sprinter Adam Newton ran a 10.7 to capture the 100 metre title at the Nipissing Invitational Track Meet at Cundari field Saturday afternoon. It was Newton's slowest time this season, running a 10.48 and a 10.37 at two earlier track meets.

The West Ferris Trojans senior boys soccer team hosted the Algonquin Barons last night in NDA action and the two teams played some exciting soccer.
