North Bay – The Franco-Cité Patriotes won their second game in a row beating the Widdifield Wildcats 7-3 in NDA hockey action Saturday evening. André-Michel Larcher and Joey St-Onge paced the Patriotes with two goals apiece.

The Soo North Stars put an end to the Trappers season high eight game unbeaten streak with a 3-0 win at the John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie Saturday night.

The Chippewa Raiders edged the Widdifield Wildcats 2-1 on Saturday in NDA hockey action. Andre Landry and Keith Spilchen scored for the Raiders while Matt Bahm turned away 24 shots for the victory.

Doyle Anthony continues to impress in Canadian university basketball. The former NDA basketball MVP from the West Ferris Trojans has been one of the top players on the Mount Allison Mounties who play in the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association.

Mattawa – The Franco-Cité Patriotes beat the F.J. McElligott Voyageurs 9-4 here on Friday in NDA hockey action.

On Monday, February 6th, 2006, AM 600 CKAT, North Bay’s Sports Leader, will air its first broadcast of Ottawa Senators NHL hockey. CKAT, a member of Rogers Broadcasting Limited North Bay, already has the local radio rights to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
